I recently had an opportunity to test drive the impressive new 2015 Audi Q3. This is Audi’s entry into the compact SUV segment. I was impressed with this new sibling of the bigger Q5 and Q7 models as it feels like a sports car yet provides plenty of cabin space and rear seating for 5 average sized occupants. There is 473 liters of luggage space in the rear with fold down rear seat backs to allow additional carrying capacity. The Q3 of course has Audi’s easy to use MMI multimedia interface system with all the bells and whistles centrally located in the beautifully appointed sporty interior. The 200 Horsepower 2.0L TFSI will give you 8.4L/100k hwy with the help of an advanced energy management recuperation system. Performance, safety and handling is available through Audi’s “Quattro” all-wheel drive system. The Q3 comes standard with beautiful 19”alloy wheels and is available in 4 equipped configurations known as the Progressiv and the Technik , either available with choice of FWD or Quattro. Q3 starts at base price of $35,800.
