Whether you’re in the market for a new vehicle designed for adventure seekers, or looking for something luxurious, the 2017 Jeep Grand Cherokee Trailhawk and the Summit will see the most notable changes in their upgraded designs. Along with offering an all-new leather interior featuring even richer options, the vehicles have received some other notable upgrades.
The Summit features several notable changes to the exterior design, including a tweaked front fascia, grille, and LED fog lights, but the most notable changes are in the interior of the Summit. The interior comes in colour scheme options of Indigo and Ski Gray, black, brown or dark Sienna brown, and while the seats feature Laguna leather, the wrapped dashboard and door panels are completed in Nappa Leather.
Unlike the previous model, the Summit comes standard in 4-wheel drive. They have also added a new standard lane-departure warning and automatic parking feature to their existing suite of safety technologies.
The Trailhawk, on the other hand, will see more changes on the interior design, while borrowing it’s new exterior look from the 2016 Grand Cherokee 75th Anniversary edition. This includes the front fascia and grille, as well as the signature red tow-hooks in the front and rear. The exterior also features 18-inch (or optional 20-inch) Adventure off-road tires reinforced with Kevlar by Goodyear, red accented badges, mirror caps, and a roof rack.
The inside features a sleek black interior with leather and suede seats, red accent stitching, and an 8.4 inch UConnect touch screen featuring updated off-road pages with wheel articulation, 4×4 and Selec-Terrain modes, suspension height and more.
With a broad range of attributes, one of the most highlighted features of the new Trailhawk is the ability to choose between a V06, Hemi V-8 or turbodiesel v-6 engine.
Pricing begins at $66,095 for the Summit and $57,245 for the Trailhawk.
