The Clarity has the economy and capability of a hybrid vehicle and it’s wrapped up in one pretty slick looking package.

There is a wide assortment of driver assist features that come standard including Forward Collision Warning, Collision Mitigation Braking System, Lane Departure Warning, Lane Keeping Assist, Road Departure Mitigatoin, and Adaptive Cruise Control with Low Speed Follow.
The hybrid powertrain is of course a feature that many auto enthusiasts are keenly interested in.
The Clarity is powered by a 1.5 L, 16-valve, Atkinson cycle DOHC, 4-cylinder engine and is mated with a 181 electric motor.
The combined result is a total of 212 horsepower.
The powertrain is completed with an E-Continuously Variable Transmission.
The new Clarity comes with an improved range and can travel up to 76 km just on electric power alone with a fully charged battery. The approximate charging is 2.5 hours.
