2018 Honda HR-V
Compact, sporty, and stylish, the 2018 Honda HR-V is beautifully designed for people on the go.
Easy to manoeuvre through busy city streets and parking lots, the HR-V is also at home on winding country roads.
Powered by a 1.8 L, 16 valve, SOHC i-VTEC 4-cylinder engine that produces 141 horsepower, the HR-V is fuel efficient while providing a lot of thrust when you need it.
‘The HR-V is a smaller crossover that is between the Honda Fit and the CR-V. Everything Honda makes has a unibody.’ Mr. Cooke explained about the engineering design. ‘They don’t make a car that is built on a frame. The technology developed in these cars over the past few years is really incredible. With Honda’s ‚Äòsensing suite’ it has become almost a semi-autonomous car.’
With sweeping contoured lines and aerodynamic profile, it provides an attractive silhouette on the road while reducing air resistance on the highway.
Under its sporty exterior the HR-V is all sophistication and comfort on the inside. Premium form fitting front seating is available in leather trim. Heated front seats are standard.

2018 Honda CR-V
It has been named SUV of the year by
automotive professionals and has a slew of other
awards for its unique and innovative design and
superior engineering.
‘The CR-V was fully redesigned for 2017. This model including the 2018 is all new,’ Mr. Cooke explained. ‘The new CR-V won SUV of the year, it has been very well received and critically acclaimed. The CR-V is North America’s best selling SUV for a reason.’
‘What’s new is incredible fuel efficiency numbers and when you feel that punch when you hit the accelerator! Previous to this generation the CR-V was a 2.4 L, 4-cylinder and naturally aspirated. The new version has a 1.5 L Turbo,’ explained Orangeville Honda’s General Sales Manager James Cooke. ‘This new engine produces 190 horsepower and 179 ft.-lbs of torque. The torque is really up with a smaller engine. It’s also intercooled, which cools the air going into the turbocharger. There’s an automatic shutter system that feeds the intercooler. Once you hit 70 km, there’s an automatic shutter that closes and gives the car a more aerodynamic profile. These are really advanced to give the best fuel economy. The fuel efficiency is incredible. The new CR-Vs beat the competition by over a litre per 100km ‘ they’re that good.’
The powertrain is complete with a standard continuously variable transmission.
With its distinctive Honda front grille and fascia with wrap around projector-beam halogen headlights, the CR-V makes a bold yet elegant statement on the road. The body-coloured exterior mirrors are heated for convenient start on a cold morning and remote engine start is standard.
