BFGoodrich® Tires introduced the Advantage T/A® Sport LT tire for CUVs, SUVs and light trucks last year and they’ve just added six new sizes to the line-up. This year-round tire’s advanced construction is designed to deliver the ideal combination of performance and versatility, while equipping drivers for real-world scenarios when weather and road conditions change.
The Advantage T/A® Sport LT tire delivers coverage for more than 70% of SUV and light-truck fitments. Snow traction1,2, hydroplaning performance and handling are its areas of focus for the all-weather driver. The tire also offers advanced mileage confidence, with up to 15,000 more kilometres than its predecessor tire.
With more than 100 years of heritage, BFGoodrich® Tires is dedicated to providing high performance tires for virtually any environment. Combining technical expertise with 45 years of motorsports experience, they deliver tires for a full range of driving experiences.
“The brand is committed to transferring high-performance technology that benefits the everyday driver. ‘All-Weather All-Purpose’ is the core of the design focus for this product,” said Fred Ollendorff, marketing manager for on-road tires for BFGoodrich in Canada. “Our commitment is to provide the most well-balanced, consistent handling product on the market. The Advantage T/A® Sport LT tire delivers best-in-class handling and consistent performance in all weather conditions.”
The Advantage T/A Sport tires deliver that performance through technology: locking 3-D active sipes, which provide more biting edges, and are designed for increased wet and snow traction1,2; and Aqua-Flume technology, a complex network of grooves in the tire designed to disperse water from the contact patch. Among the most important features is the full-depth tread, which maintains consistent performance and look throughout the life of the tire. Additionally, the Advantage T/A® Sport LT tire features an enhanced structure and compounds that achieve the “three-peak mountain snowflake” rating, meaning it meets the Tire and Rubber Association of Canada (TRAC) requirements for “Severe Snow Traction”1,2.
The tire is offered in sizes ranging from 15-inch to 22-inch with T, H and V speed ratings. Plus BFGoodrich is offering a $70 mail-in rebate on the purchase of a set of 4 tires (between March 23 and June 3, 2018).
