New Location, Same Excellence In Customer Service
Pfaff is one of those names that you couldn’t help but come across if you’ve been looking for a new car in the GTA in the last few decades. Hans J. Pfaff opened the Newmarket Yonge Street location in the mid-1960s to sell Volkswagens, later adding the Audi brand once it arrived in Canada. His son Chris took over the business in the early 1980s, continuing to grow the company into the powerhouse it has become. With that growth, however, came a problem: the original location could no longer accommodate all of the current models and the small parking lot wasn’t capable of handling the ever-increasing volume of customers. The best solution was to create another location to handle the Audi brand exclusively. Enter H.J Pfaff Audi Newmarket, the newly-opened location at 16775 Leslie Street.
“Audi has some of the newest and advanced vehicles in the market” explains new location GM Jon Fraser. “The previous facility couldn’t give the luxury and premium experience our clients deserved.” The new facility is not only aesthetically pleasing, but features qualities not immediately apparent: the free cappuccino bar with wifi, the automated car wash, the Audi driving simulator, the state-of-the-art equipment for the highly trained technicians, the full underground garage for added stock as well as the Audi-themed boutique loaded with goods directly from Germany, and more.
“We’re very proud of it,” adds Audi Brand Specialist Shehan Wicks. He recently had a client who came back to take advantage of the free clients’ Saturday car wash. She was already impressed by the staff’s quality and professionalism as she bought the car and with everything that followed, but the surprise offer of the in-house cappuccino while she waited for the car wash was the proverbial cherry on her cake. “I feel like royalty,” she said.
The new Audi-focused location brought with it the full Audi sales and service staff from the Yonge Street store, along with hiring new people to fill needed roles, all dedicated to making each prospective client’s time here a pleasure. “It’s all about service,” says Shehan. “We want to change the way people think about purchasing a vehicle.” And upon seeing and entering a facility like this, people will certainly also change the way they think about their car-buying experience as a whole.
The new location will be celebrating a grand opening party on the evening of Thursday, November 8th. It will feature such notable guests as Mayor of Newmarket Tony Van Bynen; and Wolfgang Hoffmann, the President of Audi Canada. Contact H.J Pfaff Audi of Newmarket at 1-888-591-9114 for details.
