Motoring has been on quite the journey, almost breaking speed limits in its evolution.
The Motoring brand was launched one year ago at the Toronto Auto Show. A creation of the Simcoe-York Group of Newspapers, Motoring has since expanded into ten geographic markets and has seen its circulation numbers rise to over 136,000.
Motoring first appeared last March in Orangeville and quickly arrived in Caledon, Aurora, King, Innisfil, New Tesumseth and Barrie. We cover a very large geographic region and the Motoring magazine racks can be found in every community we serve.
New Motoring products will make their debut south of the border at the 105th edition of the Chicago Auto Show, running through Feb. 18.
Chicago has a love affair with the automobile that stretches back more than a century.
Produced by the Chicago Automobile Association (CATA) – he country’s oldest metropolitan dealer organization – the show boasts more than 1 million square feet of the McCormick Place complex.
Through recently acquired Voyager Media, Motoring will be available to three distinct markets in the Chicago area in various established community newspapers.
Motoring will hit the streets with a circulation of roughly 64,000.
Motoring is your resource, your local guide to automotive dealers. Consider this as your one-stop shopping “vehicle.”
Motoring is a monthly supplement offering everything related to automobiles, from new and used car dealers to classic cars, car shows, automotive services and local success stories.
It’s not just a sales tool, but an exchange of information, ideas, good news stories and helping automotive service providers deliver their message to readers in a large geographic region served by our newspapers.
Businesses tend to be generous in their home communities and Motoring will delve into the unsung heroes, the goodwill stories behind the glass and metal and fiberglass.
If it’s auto-related, we want to hear about it, and talk about it.
It’s vitally important these days to keep dollars in one’s own community and that’s what Motoring promotes.
Real stories about real business people working in their communities – that’s the basis of Motoring’s editorial coverage.
To that end, Motoring benefits from dedicated resources – expert sales professionals, designers and automotive writers and editors. They are all part of the team that puts Motoring together.
Now let’s hit the road and enjoy the ride!
