Orangeville Nissan showcases new 2016 Titan XD
It’s one of the most talked about new vehicles of 2016 and Orangeville Nissan is offering customers and anyone interested in the new Nissan Titan XD an opportunity to see why this truck is garnering so much interest during a special VIP and Commercial night at the Highway 10 dealership.
“This will be like an auto show for this truck,” Explains Orangeville Nissan General Sales Manager Mark Pilla. “You’re going to be able to see it wheels off, and under the hood. We’ll be demonstrating driving and tow tests. The truck will be in the spotlight but there’s also all the accessories. There’s all sorts of things you can add to it. Accessories for the truck will continue to grow.”
The event will get underway at 4:00 p.m. at the dealership and the Nissan staff are anticipating a good turn out as interest in the Titan has been growing since the new model was introduced.
“We have sent out invitations to customers and people who have shown an interest in the truck, but everyone is welcome. The more the merrier,” Said Sales Manager Mitchell James. “We’ll be having door prizes, a raffle, and and exit prize.”
Nissan’s new Titan XD is a newly redesigned version of the previous Titan model.
“This truck has been completely redesigned. It’s a totally different truck,” Mr. Pilla said of the model that will be on display. “It has a completely different frame. From the ground up, it’s a new truck. This truck has kind of shaken the whole industry up because it’s not a 1/2 ton and it’s not a 3/4 ton, it’s a little bit of both. Anybody that has a horse farm or who is pulling a trailer inconsistently and wants a truck that they need to drive daily – that’s what this truck was built for. It goes down the road like a luxury car but works like a 3/4 ton truck. And that’s really what we wanted to accomplish when building this vehicle.”
The new Titan XD features a Cummins Diesel engine that puts out 310 horsepower. Many trucks owners have been requesting a Diesel engine for the past few years and Nissan has responded to their customers.
“Not only have they put in a Diesel engine, they put in the best Diesel a money can buy. The main thing about these engines is the workability of the engines. These Diesel’s give an extremely appropriate torque curve for a vehicle. Along with that is longevity,” Mr Pilla said.
The VIP and Commericial night at Orangeville Nissan will give anyone with an interest in the new model a good opportunity to see what the Titan XD is all about and view the many built in features that give this vehicle an edge over the competition.
The special event will take place at the Orangeville Nissan location on Highway 10, just north of Orangeville on Thursday, March 24, from 4:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m.
