In addition to the full line-up of new Mitsubishi vehicles, Parker Mitsubishi in Orangeville will be carrying a huge
variety of pre-owned, fully certified, clean vehicles on site. Both domestic and foreign vehicles are available.
When the ribbon is cut to officially open Parker Mitsubishi on Highway 9, just east of Orangeville, it will be the beginning of an exciting new addition to an already vibrant local automotive community.
The dealership is currently renovating the existing on-site building as a temporary measure to introduce the new line-up of Mitsubishi vehicles with plans for a brand new 10,000 square foot modern showroom with drive-in full service bays in the future.
They will also have a full compliment of fully certified quality pre-owned vehicles available on the lot.
Dealer principal, Adam Allard, said he and his family are looking forward to serving the Orangeville area as well as becoming involved in local activities – especially the local hockey scene.
Coming from a large, very active family, Mr. Allard and his brothers all played Junior level hockey.
The dealership’s name honours brother Ethan Allard, who’s nickname was Parker. He passed away last year as the result of a tragic accident.
The family has started the Ethan Allard Memorial Hockey Fund – a foundation that will partner with local hockey communities round Dufferin County to help disadvantaged youth to play hockey.
“This dealership is all family owned and operated,” Mr. Allard explained. “We are looking to build a culture here and follow the values of passion we have and pass that on to our customers. We’re here to stay, and that’s the message we would like to give to the Orangeville community.”
As a Mitsubishi dealer, Mr. Allard is looking forward to bringing the brand to Orangeville.
“I love where Mitsubishi is, and I love where they’re going. The product portfolio is very focused on CUVs and SUVs which where the market is really at,” Mr. Allard said, adding he has a special appreciation for the new electric vehicles coming out. “They just launched the new Outlander hybrid plug-in electric vehicle. It’s the world’s best selling hybrid plug-in electric vehicle, and has just arrived on North American shores. That’s an exciting new product coming to this area along with the government rebates. Mitsubishi has very cutting edge technology when it comes to electric vehicles.”
The Mitsubishi brand has been making great strides in Canada. In February of 2018, sales were up 27 per cent over the previous year and March was even better with an increase of 39 per cent over the 2017 figures.
While the brand’s initial appeal may be in the styling and design of their vehicles, it is the outstanding ten-year warranty that gives Mitsubishi owners a sense of security and confidence in a company that stands behind their product with such a solid statement of commitment to quality.
The new line-up of SUVs and CUVs’ include the popular Outlander, including a special 2018 anniversary edtion, the highly stylized Eclipse Cross, and the RVR compact crossover.
The new Outlander PHEV model is the much anticipated hybrid plug-in with the ability to charge from the convenience of a 120v household outlet or and standard charging station.
In keeping with current technology, Parker Mitsubishi will have a public charging station on site for any electric vehicle.
Parker Mitsubishi will host the grand opening of the new dealership on Saturday, May 5.
The public is welcome to come out and enjoy the festivities and see the line-up of Mitsubishi vehicles.
