The Ford and Lincoln luxury line-up for 2017
Driving has never been better Describing the line-up of luxury Ford Lincoln vehicles for 2017 is one thing, getting behind the wheel and experiencing the ride is a whole different matter. The grand-daddy of the Ford luxury ride is of course the Lincoln – a brand which has been around a long time and who’s name has become synonymous with a high end luxury car. However the new Lincolns aren’t your grandfathers car any more. “The new Continental is now a trademark high end luxury sedan with sport-like capability,” explained Blackstock Ford’s Marketing Manager, Brendon Carson. “This Continental shakes all its stereotypes – you can get a V6 3L engine that creates 400 horsepower. It’s a sporty luxury sedan, and a pretty one at that.” The Continental has evolved into a sleek, highly stylized sedan that provides both an elegant exterior design and interior comfort that luxury car drivers have come to expect from the Lincoln brand. With such features as massaging seat, 360 degree parking cameras, and Adaptive Cruise Control, the Continental combines technology with the driver comfort. Independent rear suspension and all-wheel drive provide the quiet and smooth ride that defines a Lincoln. Several colours are available that highlight the curves and chrome accents and trim.

The Lincoln MKC and MKX are the luxury cross-over lovers dream ride. Designed for people who appreciate a top-of-the-line ride but also need the convenience of the extra cargo space available in a cross-over vehicle, these SUVs provide the best of both worlds. Leather seats are standard and can be heated in the winter and cooled in the summer. “Many features are standard as you expect in a luxury vehicle. There are a lot of rider comfort features that come standard in a Luxury vehicle like a Lincoln,” Mr. Carson explained. Of course the ride is what you would know to be standard in a Lincoln – it is a smooth journey down any road or highway and is enhance by the independent rear suspension that acts independently of the front wheels. Cross-over vehicles have become the vehicle of choice for many people for a lot of reasons. With an aerodynamic profile and beautifully crafted lines, the MKC and MKX are as nice to look at as they are to drive. With a lot of new technology at your fingertips, design and comfort are combined with safety and convenience. A bonus with these vehicles is that they are specifically engineered to use standard octane fuel while providing power yet maintaining fuel efficiency while on the road. Luxury doesn’t mean you have to spend extra money for higher octane fuel at the pumps.
