Tire Junction -the truck tire professionals
When it comes to driving, your tires are the only part of your vehicle that make contact with the road.
Keeping your rubber in good shape and using the right kind of tires is an important part of maintaining the safety of your vehicle.
At Tire Junction in Bolton, they have a large selection of truck tires in stock and the knowledge to help you decide which is the best tire for you based on your vehicle and the type of driving you do.
Owner, Amar Uppal, has been in the business for over 35 years and knows just about everything there is to know about tires.
“We are a full service tire shop. We have a large variety of truck tires in stock and carry many brands – Michelin, Nexen, Khumo, Sailun, B.F. Goodrich – we have them all,” explained Mr. Uppal of the brands they keep in stock. “At the moment there are several rebates from the manufacturer when you buy four.”
For truck owners, selecting the right type of tire depends on your driving habits and how you use your vehicle. Whether you use your truck as a regular mode of transportation around town or as a recreational or work vehicle, Tire Junction can supply the right type of style and tread that is best for your needs.
“Some people prefer an all-terrain tire – good for on and off road. Some tires have a ‘snow symbol’ on them meaning they are good in the snow. For winter, a snow tire is made from softer rubber than an all season tire. The grooves are deeper. For ten degrees (Celcius) and below, snow tires work really well. For temperatures above ten degrees, summer and all season tires are recommend,” Mr. Uppal explained.
Many truck owners want to customize their vehicle with larger tires and rims and Tire Junction offers this service along with expert installation.
“Many truck owners like to have the larger tires. We offer those packages with tires and rims and we also do lift kits. Some owners like to lift their vehicles so can have the bigger tires. There are all different sizes. Many people like to stay with the regular size but others are looking for 33” and 35” tires,”Mr. Uppal said. “Different tires will create a different ride in the vehicle.”
When it comes to service, Tire Junction has a full service, newly expanded shop, that can perform service on all makes and models. They have the special synthetic oils that are required by some truck manufacturers.
The shop has several professional service technicians who have been with the company for several years and are experts when it comes to servicing the needs of truck owners.
“We thank all our customers who have given us business over the years and we welcome new customers,” Mr. Uppal said.
Tire Junction has been at their current location on Highway 50, in Bolton for ten years and have gained a loyal following from truck owners.
