Titan combines design and durability at Bolton Nissan
Designed and engineered for rugged durability as well as to look good on the road, the Nissan Titan combines the best features of a truck that is ideal for recreational use while at the same time can handle the rigors of the job site.
The Titan is available in several trim levels including – S, SV, PRO-4X, SL, and PLATINUM RESERVE – and offers two available powerplants.
It is powered by an Endurance 5.6 L, 32 valve, V8 engine that cranks out 390 horsepower and 394 lb-ft of torque and is mated with a seven speed transmission. It has a generous eight-foot box length.
The Diesel version of the S model is equipped with a 5.0 L, Cummins Turbo-Diesel that provides 555 lb-ft of torque.
The Cummins Diesel is noted among truck enthusiasts as a powerhouse of an engine that provides the torque needed for hauling heavy loads while doing it with impressive efficiency.
The new crew cab version comes with either the Endurance gas engine or the Cummins Turbo-Diesel.
For those that use their truck for towing the new XD has an incredible 12,000 lb towing capacity. An available integrated gooseneck hitch is built right into the frame providing exceptional strength and is designed to flip over when not needed to allow a flat bed when you need it.
With a 2000 lb payload capacity, the Titan has the strength and rugged design for any job site or just if you are head up north for the weekend with your trailer and all your extra gear.
The truck bed has been redesigned and is larger and built with high-strength steel. If you use your truck on the job site, available bed lighting and available 110-V outlet will allow to keep working under difficult lighting situations and have your equipment powered up in no time.
The crew cab allows for five passengers and is a full four-door design which offers plenty of interior space.
The exterior design of the Titan has received attention to detail with a sleek design highlighting curved fenders with wrap around lights and a chrome bumper.
The Titan was redesigned in 2016 and that was also the year it was launched with a Diesel engine. There are two engines available, a V8 gasoline engine and the Diesel.
The edge the Titan has over other similar trucks is the warranty. The warranty on the 2017 model is a 5-year 160,000 KM limited bumper to bumper. No other manufacturers are offering a warranty like this.
On the inside, the Titan has been designed to eliminate noise with laminated glass and damping engineering that has created the quietest ride in its class.
With bold styling that features distinctive touches like available LED daytime running lights, the grille is both an eye catcher and functional as it is designed to increase air floor to the engine.
Inside, the Titan gives you room to stretch while at the same time providing easy access to controls and the main console.
Well thought out and well engineered, the driver’s cockpit has many features that not only make for comfortable driving, it is designed for convenience.
The standard push button start eliminates the need for a key ring. Keep the Nissan Intelligent Key in your pocket and start the engine with the push of a button.
A redesigned centre console is extra wide and provides more storage space.
Keeping up with the latest technology, the Titan has an available on-screen navigation system and on-line search function. The screen also allows you to stay connected through social media, traffic and weather reports, and many other on-line applications.
With an exceptional design and more towing and load capacity than ever before, the new Titan should be on the top of the list for anyone looking for a new truck for either work or just heading up to the cottage for the weekend.
