Putting smiles on children’s faces this Holiday Season
And Jacksons Toyota is gearing up to give back this holiday season. The dealership is getting into the spirit starting November 15, holding their first toy drive in many years. Until December 15, customers, employees and local residents can stop by to donate any toy they choose.
Used Car Manager Jason Melville got the ball rolling this year, after he decided it would be a good idea to give children in unfortunate situations the kind of Christmas his kids get to enjoy every year.
“Christmas is a time for kids,” he said.
“Being a parent, it’s important for me to see my kids happy. They get spoiled every year, while other children aren’t able to get that luxury. Jacksons Toyota is a power house name, so we can run with it. I’m hoping it really takes off.”
The dealership is partnering up with Christmas Cheer in order to make Christmas a joyus occasion for numerous children in the Barrie area. There will be a new Tundra model in the showroom, where all toy donations will be put until the truck is filled. If they reach the goal of filling one truck, Melville’s own promotional vehicle will be the next to fill up with donations.
“I think we could potentially have enough toys to fill my truck. At least that’s what I’m hoping for of course!” beamed Melville.
“We are targeting our staff and customer base of course, such as anyone purchasing a pre-owned vehicle. We’re a family and it’s important we give back to the community that has been so kind to us.”
Be sure to stop by and make a donation, whether big or small, to make a child’s Christmas wish come true.
