Have you ever had the burning desire to build the ultimate car of your dreams that suits your style and personality? Aurora’s Ty Tupper did just that! After years of hanging out with car guys and working in performance tuning shops; he put his nose to the grindstone, created a successful business and has now rewarded his own efforts by creating this beautiful ‘33 Ford Roadster. This small block Chevy powered masterpiece has been nicknamed “Tupper’s Tuxedo” for its smooth well pressed lines and classy black finish. This steel bodied Ford was hand built by American Speed Company in Plymouth, Michigan. Using a Lobecks chassis and Inglese injected 350 Chevy engine, this car turns heads everywhere it appears.
In it’s debut last year at the Grand National Roadster Show in Pomona, California, Ty and his wife Linda took home 2nd prize in this very prestigious show. This isn’t surprising at all, because when you look at this car there isn’t a single detail overlooked. The details include a “banjo” style steering wheel with accents such as interior door handles to match which are all custom made. Hidden wiring and plumbing throughout the car really give it a sanitary look. Watch for this car at a show or cruise near you, you won’t be able to take your eyes off it!.
